Pelvic Health for Children

All children develop at different rates but it is considered that a child of 5 years and older should have normal bladder function and at 4 years should have normal bowel function.

Younger children may need early intervention if suffering from recurrent UTI’s, have dysfunctional voiding patterns, elevated bladder volumes before or after micturition, upper urinary tract issues or chronic constipation.

More information can be found at the International Continence Children’s Society.
