MERREN COAD
B.App.Sc.(Physiotherapy)

Merren has been teaching pilates with us since 2005. She started attending Pilates classes for herself during her first pregnancy in 2004. She has been a physiotherapist since graduating in 1996 from the University of Sydney. She has extensive experience in the private sector and has worked in clinics specialising in treating lower limb and pelvic injuries. Merren is a dedicated physiotherapist who is also a runner and mother. This has lead her to develop an interest in Pilates for core stability to improve back and pelvic pain, pelvic floor strength and improve performance for runners. She is a big believer in Pilates when taught by physiotherapists who can understand pathology and modify programmes specifically to a client's needs.
